Instruction is provided for all levels.

Beginning – This is for individuals who have never taken a belly dance lesson, have taken very few or want to polish basic movements. The main focus of this class is learning basic movements, costuming, history of the dance, introduction to props and terminology. Choreography may be taught if the group wishes for that session.

Intermediate – This class provides a growing opportunity to learn more movements for individuals who have moved out of the beginning class or has a high level of training in belly dance. Movements, combinations, terminology, regular use of props, choreography and potential performance opportunities are the focus.

Advanced/Performance – This level of class requires an audition to join and/or moving up from RMBDC’s Intermediate Class. Extensive level of knowledge of RMBDC terminology, steps and movements are required. Intensive choreography, prop use, combinations and performing are the focus of this class.

Private Lessons – Individuals wishing to get special attention to detail are encouraged to sign up one-on-one with one of our instructors. This is also ideal for individuals who are not comfortable learning in groups. All levels of private instruction are available. Perfect for those looking to perfect their skills.
